I spent a long time waiting to feel finished. With the work, with the year, with the version of myself I was building.
The feeling never came. Enough is not something that arrives. It is something you set.
In practice that means deciding in advance, in writing, what done looks like, then honouring it on the day you could do more.
The day you could do more is the whole test. Anyone can stop when they are tired.
Set the line before you start. Stop at it once, and notice that the ground holds.
